La Marsa is the northern end of the coastal suburbs — a prosperous seaside town at the terminus of the historic TGM line, with a long corniche, café terraces and the richest concentration of contemporary galleries in greater Tunis. This is where the capital's art world has come to settle: a major foundation's art station, a creative district in a reborn industrial pocket, and a run of established galleries, all within a town built for the sea. The register is contemporary and sunlit. The scene here is at full strength.
