Sales commission
Sell through Exhibo only when you opt in. Commission is tied to your subscription tier and applies to card checkout and deposit-gated inquiries.

Commission can be shown on top of your list price or included in the buyer-facing total — you choose per artwork in your dashboard. Exhibo deducts its tier percentage before your net payout on card transactions.
Inquiry only
No card checkout on Exhibo. Collectors submit an enquiry and you respond directly. Optional for every gallery — nothing to configure.
Stripe Connect
Card payments via Stripe destination charges. Exhibo deducts your tier commission as an application fee; the remainder lands in your connected Stripe account.
Exhibo Checkout (held)
Payments are captured on Exhibo’s platform Stripe account. Net proceeds are held until delivery is evidenced, then paid out by bank transfer after your invoice is approved.
Direct purchase
When Connect or Exhibo Checkout is enabled, collectors can pay by card for available works with a listed price up to US$15,000 per transaction. Higher values and price-on-request works use a deposit-gated inquiry instead.
Deposit inquiry
Buyers pay a refundable-style deposit (US$500–US$1,000, scaled by work value) before your full contact details are revealed. Exhibo retains its commission percentage from the deposit immediately; you negotiate the final sale offline and commission on the remainder is invoiced per your terms.
