About

We started with a simple frustration.

By our third week in Dubai, we had bookmarked a dozen gallery websites, followed fifteen Instagram accounts, dropped thirty pins on Google Maps — and still couldn't answer the most basic question: if I have one afternoon and I want to understand what's actually happening in this city's art scene, where do I go?

The galleries were there. The art was serious. What didn't exist was a way in.

Exhibo is our answer to that problem — and not just in Dubai. We're building the discovery layer for art markets that are extraordinary but underserved: the scenes where the work is world-class and the infrastructure to find it is almost entirely accidental. The Gulf first, then Beirut, Cairo, Lagos, Karachi and every city where serious galleries are showing serious work to audiences who have to be lucky to find them.

We are Sergey and Alena — a husband and wife who walked into a gallery on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard one afternoon and came out thinking the same thing: this place deserves a better map. Behind Exhibo is a small team of people who felt exactly that — designers, developers, writers and art enthusiasts who decided that building the infrastructure for great art scenes to be discovered was worth their time. We are glad they did.

If you've ever felt that pull — standing in a gallery somewhere unexpected, thinking the world should know about this — you already understand what we're building, and you're already part of it.

What we're building is not a directory. It's a platform for galleries to exist beyond their opening nights — where their programmes, their artists and their institutional history remain discoverable long after the show closes. A place where a collector in London can follow a gallery in Alserkal Avenue and know what matters when it matters. Where journalists can subscribe to press from a region they're finally paying attention to. Where the gap between the quality of a scene and its global visibility gets closed, one gallery at a time.

Joining Exhibo as a gallery is free — and always will be at its core. Because we believe the barrier to being seen should be zero. What we offer beyond that — distribution, editorial reach, press room tools, deeper audience access — grows as galleries grow with us. The platform is designed to give more back the more it's used: a permanent, searchable record of a gallery's programme that compounds in value over time, reaching collectors and curators who are actively looking, not stumbling across things by accident.

We are early. There is a great deal still ahead — new cities, new tools, new ways to connect the people who make art with the people who want to experience it. We don't think of that as a limitation. We think of it as an invitation.

The map didn't exist. We're making it — together.
