B7L9 Art Station — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The venue aims to democratize contemporary art and reinforce social cohesion by prioritizing cultural diversity and integrating populations of foreign origins through free access to artistic events. It seeks to change the relationship between centre and periphery while triggering intercultural dialogue with local and global institutions.

B7L9 Art Station is an experimental art space located in Bahr Lazreg, a rural suburb of La Marsa in Tunis, Tunisia. Imagined and developed by the Kamel Lazaar Foundation (KLF), it serves as the foundation's first permanent location and operates as a laboratory for knowledge exchange. The 600m2 facility hosts three to four major exhibitions annually alongside residencies, workshops, and public programmes.
