Silent Witnesses

Silent Witnesses presents works by Majdulin Nasrallah (b. 1996), a Palestinian interdisciplinary designer, educator, and visual artist based in Doha, at al markhiya gallery, Katara Cultural Village (Building 5). The exhibition examines how familiar objects, rooted in intimacy and routine, hold new meanings when recontextualized through violence, displacement, and fragmentation. Nasrallah's compositions trace the fragile threshold between comfort and collapse, revealing how tenderness and terror can coexist within the same frame, and how objects continue to hold memory long after it has fractured. Working across painting, textiles, designed objects, and spatial interventions, she explores memory, transitionality, and displacement.
