About the work

A long, narrow work from the All Strings Attached series, in which strips of Majdalawi linen — the handwoven textile of al-Majdal in historic Palestine — unravel beneath a framed fragment. Shown in Silent Witnesses at al markhiya gallery, Katara Cultural Village, Doha (2026), an exhibition examining how familiar objects rooted in intimacy and routine take on new meanings when recontextualised through violence, displacement and fragmentation.
