About the work

Part of the All Strings Attached series, made from Majdalawi linen — the handwoven textile tradition of al-Majdal in historic Palestine — arranged as a quiet, rhythmic composition. Shown in Silent Witnesses at al markhiya gallery, Katara Cultural Village, Doha (2026), an exhibition examining how familiar objects rooted in intimacy and routine take on new meanings when recontextualised through violence, displacement and fragmentation.
