Out of the Blue, Red and Yellow

About the work

A large-scale painting in which a grid of softly blurred squares in blue, red and yellow holds fragments of imagery, suggesting memories that are at once vivid and dissolving. Shown in Silent Witnesses at al markhiya gallery, Katara Cultural Village, Doha (2026), an exhibition examining how familiar objects rooted in intimacy and routine take on new meanings when recontextualised through violence, displacement and fragmentation.
