Bu Tayla is a photographic print from Al Shomely's series on heritage patterns, revealing the folds and repeated geometry hidden within a traditional textile motif. Part of Between a Fold and a Memory at Leila Heller Gallery Dubai, the work reflects Al Shomely's research into Islamic geometry and the heritage iconography of Emirati women.
