About the work

Wisdom, from the Sustainability Series of 2006, is one of Al Qubaisi's early works addressing renewable energy and responsible resource use, themes she revisits in the exhibition with new works made twenty years later. Shown in Between Land and Sea at Leila Heller Gallery Dubai, the work reflects Al Qubaisi's engagement with Emirati heritage, the desert landscape, sustainability and traditional craft.
