About the work

Acrylic paint is worked into plastic netting, turning a cheap, everyday industrial material into a luminous, grid-like surface where colour and structure become one. Shown in In Search of Material Within Material at Leila Heller Gallery Dubai, the work reflects Nai's practice of transforming modest, distinctly Indian materials while preserving their history and memory.
