About the work
One of a pair of works titled Subtitle Detail, presented in Margiela's 2026 Berlin exhibition. Isolating a fragment of the moving image – the subtitle – the work reflects on what we watch and how we read it, extending the artist's inquiry into the everyday images and objects that surround the body.
