About the work
Part of a group of works in which images of heads, hair and faces appear familiar and unfamiliar at once. Here a fur-like portrait meets a stack of magazines, bringing together Margiela's fascination with hair and surface and his interest in the printed media through which bodies and identities are endlessly reproduced.
