About the work
One of the most expansive works in the exhibition, Transit 271 unfolds across four metres of canvas, immersing the viewer in a hyper-realistic panorama of nature. Presented in From Dust to Bloom at JD Malat Gallery Dubai, the painting reflects Kaluza's view of nature as something in constant transformation, where an apparently idyllic scene is quietly unsettled by disruptions that call its beauty into question.
