Transit 311 (Sunset)

About the work

One of a trio of sunset paintings, this canvas captures the fleeting light of dusk over a landscape, a moment of beauty whose very perfection invites suspicion. Presented in From Dust to Bloom at JD Malat Gallery Dubai, the painting reflects Kaluza's view of nature as something in constant transformation, where an apparently idyllic scene is quietly unsettled by disruptions that call its beauty into question.
