About the work
A work from Margiela's 2026 Berlin exhibition in which an ordinary seat becomes the subject of quiet intervention. Like much of his recent art, it turns to the furniture that shapes and holds the body – where we sit and how we rest – manipulating a familiar object until it hovers between the everyday and the strange.
