About the work
One of a group of smaller wooden panel paintings that punctuate the gallery with playful accents. Light layers of colour build upon one another on the smooth MDF surface, creating subtle shifts in density and a consistent veil of colour, set within a walnut frame. Shown in Taking Form, Begum's fifth solo exhibition at The Third Line, Dubai.
