Soo Gallery — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery focuses on presenting the youngest generations of Iranian artists and fresh talents through cutting-edge media, while also engaging with traditional forms. Its programme includes site-specific projects, installations, and a distinct 'Soo Community' initiative that contextualizes sub-cultural practices such as graffiti, street art, underground music, and experimental architecture.

Soo Contemporary is a commercial art gallery located in Tehran, Iran, established in 2017 by director Shirin Gharavisky. Operating from a permanent two-floor venue with an open courtyard and rooftop, the gallery showcases both emerging Iranian talent and more established artists across various media. The space hosts regular solo and group exhibitions, alongside multimedia events and private tours for its audience.
