Curatorial Ethos
The gallery focuses on modern and contemporary art, managing significant artist estates and producing scholarly publications including catalogues raisonnés. Its programme features international artists alongside key figures in German art history, such as George Grosz and Tom of Finland, often supported by extensive curatorial research.
Galerie Judin was established in Zurich in 2003 by Juerg Judin and relocated to Berlin in 2008, operating from a restored former Tagesspiegel printing facility since 2011. In 2024, art historian Pay Matthis Karstens became co-owner, sharing responsibility for the gallery's artistic and commercial direction with Juerg Judin. The gallery manages two estates and three catalogues raisonnés, and operates a second location at a converted 1950s gas station which it shares with Pace Gallery.
