About this district

Seeb is the coastal old town at the western end of the city, out toward the airport — a flat, sea-facing quarter known for its fishing, its traditional souq and its stretch of beach, now joined by the marina-and-boardwalk development of Al Mouj. It is heritage and everyday coastal life rather than a gallery scene: an old souq, a fort, a fine mosque and a working seafront. Locals call it Muttrah's sister. The pace is local. The sea sets the rhythm.
