Central-eastern districts either side of Sidi Gaber station, the city's main railway interchange — dense, busy, well-connected, and holding cultural centres and galleries among the apartment blocks and commercial streets. The part of Alexandria most people pass through, and more is happening in it than the traffic suggests.
