Curatorial Ethos

The gallery aims to identify and introduce new lasting talents whose works conform to international principles while retaining an Iranian identity. It focuses on promoting leading figures in contemporary Iranian art and contributing to the profitability and policymaking of the sector.

Seyhoun Art Gallery was founded in 1966 in Tehran by painter Massoumeh Noushin Seyhoun and stands as the most long-lived art gallery in Iran. Despite interruptions due to social and political unrest, it has presented over 1200 exhibitions of painting, sculpture, photography, and graphic art, while also engaging with international trends such as installation and digital art. The gallery is located at No. 11, 4th Street, Vozara Street, Tehran.
