Kamel Mennour (St-André)

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery focuses on representing significant figures in modern and contemporary art while supporting creativity and knowledge through its dedicated Mennour Institute. This initiative fosters research via doctoral fellowships, supports emerging talent through the Émergence project, and engages in philanthropic activities to share ideas within the contemporary art field.

Kamel Mennour is a blue-chip commercial gallery founded in 1999 by Kamel Mennour, operating multiple spaces in Paris including the primary location at 47 Rue Saint-André-des-Arts. The gallery represents approximately fifty living artists and estates from the fields of modern and contemporary art, presenting exhibitions globally and participating in major international fairs such as Art Basel and Frieze. In September 2023, the gallery launched the Mennour Institute to promote research, education, and philanthropy in twentieth- and twenty-first-century art.
