Curatorial Ethos
Art should feel immediate — rooted in place, yet speaking beyond borders. We work closely with artists at every stage of production, from studio visits to installation, and believe the gallery is a civic space as much as a commercial one.
BARS Gallery is an independent contemporary art space in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai. Since 2018 we have championed emerging voices from the Gulf and the wider MENA region alongside established international names. Our programme spans painting, sculpture and installation, with a focus on material experimentation and cross-cultural dialogue. The gallery hosts four exhibitions a year, an active talks programme, and collaborations with regional institutions.
