Forms of Light opens at BARS Gallery

BARS Gallery is pleased to open Forms of Light, our spring 2026 exhibition bringing together new paintings by Layla Al-Mansouri and sculpture by Viktor Petrov.

The show examines how both artists treat light as a physical material — whether through gold leaf and layered oil glazes, or through polished bronze and translucent resin panels that shift colour as the viewer moves.

Curated by Nadia Rahman, the presentation unfolds across two rooms in our Alserkal Avenue space, with a dedicated reading area featuring catalogues and archival material from the artists' studios.

Opening reception: Thursday 15 April, 6–9pm. The exhibition continues through 30 June 2026. All works are available for acquisition; enquiries welcome via the gallery team.
