The gallery’s programme centres on advancing the Syrian plastic art movement through contemporary exhibitions, academic research, and the systematic archiving and documentation of modern and contemporary Syrian art experiences.
Founded in 2022 by Nawras, Ziad, and Anas Kamel, Dimashq Gallery is an art institution located at Burj Al-Roos Square in Al-Kasaa, Damascus. Operating under the patronage of the Czech Embassy in Damascus, the space hosts regular exhibitions, maintains a collection, and publishes a journal focused on Syrian visual arts. The gallery opens to the public from Saturday to Tuesday between 11 AM and 8 PM.
