Curatorial Ethos
Kalim Bechara Art Gallery is dedicated to presenting modern and contemporary art from across the Arab world. Working at the intersection of regional heritage and global discourse, the gallery champions artists whose practices engage with evolving cultural narratives, material experimentation and critical inquiry. Founded and directed by Lebanese curator and collector Kalim Bechara, it opened in 2021 in Hamra and, in 2025, moved to a larger space in Downtown Beirut. Its exhibition programme supports both emerging voices and established artists, with solo exhibitions accompanied by printed catalogues.
