Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF)

Curatorial Ethos

DAF functions as a custodian and researcher of Arab art history, providing vital resources through its database, publications, and digital reference platform launched in 2020. The foundation actively supports major international cultural exhibitions, notably serving as a platinum supporter for the Lebanese Pavilion at the Venice Biennale Arte 2022 and 2024.

The Ramzi and Saeda Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF) is a Beirut-based cultural institution founded in January 2016 by Dr. Basel Dalloul to safeguard an extensive collection of modern and contemporary visual art from the Arab World. The foundation houses approximately 3,000 artworks spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and installation, compiled since the 1970s by Dr. Ramzi Dalloul and Saeda Al-Husseini. Located in the White Tower Building on Rue Madame Curie, DAF operates with a mission encompassing preservation, research, exhibitions, and cultural events to make Arab art accessible to local and international audiences.
