Darat Al Tasweer functions as a non-profit cultural platform centered on photographic practice, combining exhibition programming with hands-on education and public festivals. Founded in 2007 by photographer Linda Al Khoury, Darat Al Tasweer is a Jordan-based institute located in Jabal Al Lweibdeh, Amman, dedicated to promoting photography among amateurs and professionals. The space regularly presents exhibitions and delivers educational training programs alongside international collaborations. Since 2011, it has also organized the Image Festival Amman, which it now manages independently.
