Save show

For its 2026 edition, the Prix Marcel Duchamp is hosted for the second time by the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, in partnership with the Centre Pompidou. The exhibition of the four shortlisted artists is curated by Odile Burluraux and Nicolas Liucci-Goutnikov. Since it was created in 2000 by ADIAF, the Prix Marcel Duchamp has distinguished many artists who have gone on to become leading figures of the international contemporary art scene. While the historic Centre Pompidou building undergoes its major renovation, the prize has joined the institution’s wider network of partner venues, and its exhibitions will be held at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris until 2029. This year’s nominees – Joël Andrianomearisoa, Brognon Rollin (David Brognon and Stéphanie Rollin), Laura Henno and Josèfa Ntjam – present their work in a dedicated exhibition set within the museum’s permanent collection, open free of charge from 2 October 2026 to 7 February 2027. The winner is announced on Thursday 22 October 2026, during Paris Art Week, by an international jury chaired by Xavier Rey, Director of the Musée National d’Art Moderne, and made up of museum directors, collectors and two artists. Organised with the Centre Pompidou since its inception and endowed with €90,000, of which €35,000 goes to the winner, the Prix Marcel Duchamp is recognised as one of the leading awards in contemporary art. Beyond the prize itself, it offers artists a comprehensive programme of support: ADIAF has organised some fifty exhibitions of nominees and laureates in France and around twenty abroad with the Institut français, and nominees can take up residencies with the Sèvres Manufacture and National Museums in France and with Villa Albertine in the United States. The nominees: Joël Andrianomearisoa, born in 1977 in Antananarivo, Madagascar; Brognon Rollin – David Brognon, born in 1978 in Messancy, Belgium, and Stéphanie Rollin, born in 1980 in Luxembourg; Laura Henno, born in 1976 in Croix, France; and Josèfa Ntjam, born in 1992 in Metz, France. The exhibition is presented as part of a partnership between ADIAF, the Centre Pompidou and the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris / Paris Musées.
