Ghalya's Museum of Modern Art stands near the Muttrah Fort in Muscat, Oman, having opened in January 2011 under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq bin Taimour Al Said. The institution operates as a cultural hub comprising three main divisions: an Old House displaying Omani domestic heritage from 1950 to 1975, a Modern Art Gallery showcasing works by Omani and international contemporary artists, and a Clothes Museum featuring traditional and international costume collections. The venue opens daily from Saturday to Friday between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm, offering exhibitions, workshops, and creative events alongside a gift shop.
