KOTARO NUKAGA — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery develops a distinctive programme with avant-garde artists, exploring the ambiguous relationship between art and society through historical, cultural, scientific, and aesthetic contexts. It approaches modern art's institutionalised discourse by integrating interdisciplinary themes such as science and technology, aiming to decode its grammar while supporting artists across the ecosystem.

KOTARO NUKAGA is a contemporary art gallery with locations in Roppongi and Tennoz (TERRADA Art Complex II), Tokyo, Japan. Founded by Kotaro Nukaga, the gallery presents solo and group exhibitions featuring both Japanese and international artists, such as Neil Hood and Oriol Villanova. The venue operates on a standard schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, hosting regular shows and participating in local art events like Tennoz Contemporary.
