Curatorial Ethos

The gallery serves as a platform for contemporary Japanese and international artists, facilitating their presence in global museums and biennales while maintaining a core programme of solo and group exhibitions in Tokyo.

Kenji Taki Gallery is a commercial gallery with locations in Roppongi and Nagoya, Tokyo, established in 1994. The gallery represents an international roster of artists including Chiharu Shiota, Alfredo Jaar, Leiko Ikemura, and Nobuyuki Tanaka. It maintains a long-standing history of organizing exhibitions and supporting artists through major institutional shows at venues such as the Victoria and Albert Museum and the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
