Curatorial Ethos
The gallery aims to expand beyond the conventional exhibition format by opening its functions to diverse forms of creative expression, conversation, and exchange through cross-genre programs. It seeks to provide opportunities for visitors to experience art from different perspectives, blending visual art with literary and audio media.
HAGIWARA PROJECTS is a contemporary art gallery located in Roppongi, Tokyo, operating since at least 2013. The space presents a year-round programme of solo and group exhibitions featuring both Japanese and international artists, including regular participation in major fairs such as Paris Internationale and JUNE Art Fair. In addition to traditional exhibitions, the gallery hosts cross-genre events under its "hagipro: open gallery" initiative, which includes reading groups and podcasts to expand dialogue around creative expression.
