Foam Contemporary aims to be an expression space that reflects the Japanese art scene from multiple angles, exploring artistic value beyond traditional life cycles while staying close to contemporary actuality. By combining flexible programming with a conventional white cube environment, the gallery seeks to foster new sensibilities and introduce diverse artists regardless of their career stage or age.
Foam Contemporary is an art space located on the 6th floor of Ginza Six in Tokyo, Japan, operating within the Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore. Opened in July 2022 by CCC Art Lab, it functions as a white cube exhibition hall dedicated to showcasing emerging and mid-career artists from the Japanese and international art scenes. The venue offers free admission and hosts regular solo and group exhibitions featuring painting, sculpture, and mixed media works.
