Curatorial Ethos
The organization operates on the philosophy of '<Art x Industry x Community>', aiming to nurture creative power between people and cities while building rich cultural capital. Its programme focuses on supporting artists through residencies (AIR 3331), fostering community co-creation via 'Arts Fields', and providing educational workshops through '3331 Arts School'.
3331 Arts Chiyoda operated as a non-profit, self-sustaining arts center in Tokyo from 2010 to 2023, founded by the artist initiative command N. The physical facility closed in March 2023 due to aging infrastructure and renovation plans, but the organization continues under the name '3331' to execute diverse art projects and community programs nationwide. Based in Chiyoda-ku, the entity maintains an active presence through new bases like 'Art Base / Guzen wa Nai' and various collaborative initiatives.
