Curatorial Ethos
The gallery connects artists, ideas, and audiences through projects shaped for specific architectural, social, and cultural contexts, focusing on research-led contemporary art from Southeast Asia. Its programme emphasizes preserving artistic legacies, such as the retrospective of Solamalay Namasivayam, while showcasing emerging and established regional talent through diverse mediums including painting, video, and ceramics.
Yeo Workshop is a contemporary art gallery located at Gillman Barracks in Singapore, established with over a decade of curatorial experience. The venue presents solo and group exhibitions featuring Southeast Asian artists, including Luke Heng, Citra Sasmita, and Maryanto, while also participating in major international art fairs such as Frieze New York and Art SG. Beyond its physical space, the gallery develops public-art commissions and cultural programmes that bring contemporary art into workplaces and travel hubs across Singapore.
