Sundaram Tagore Gallery — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery champions artists deeply engaged in cross-cultural exchanges, synthesizing Western visual language with forms and philosophies from Asia, the Subcontinent, and the Middle East. It maintains a robust programme focused on intercultural dialogue, supporting underrepresented cultures and women artists while organizing multidisciplinary cultural activities such as poetry readings, film screenings, and museum partnerships.

Sundaram Tagore Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2000 by Sundaram Tagore, with locations in New York, Singapore, and London. The Singapore branch is located at Gillman Barracks and opened in 2012 as part of the gallery's global expansion to showcase artists engaged in cross-cultural explorations. The gallery represents established and emerging artists from around the globe, specializing in museum-calibre paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, and photography.
