Curatorial Ethos
Ora-Ora dedicates itself to researching and promoting contemporary Eastern ink art while supporting innovative multidisciplinary practices across sculpture, installation, and mixed media. The programme focuses on thought-driven innovators who bridge cultural narratives, often juxtaposing traditional aesthetics with contemporary interventions to explore polytemporality and urban life.
Ora-Ora is a commercial gallery founded in Hong Kong in 2006 by Dr. Henrietta Tsui-Leung, with international exhibitions and a presence in Singapore. The gallery represents globally-sourced artists who interpret history and philosophy to bring new perspectives to the modern world, fostering dialogues between East and West. Recognized for its support of Asian contemporary art, Ora-Ora regularly participates in global art fairs such as Art Basel Hong Kong.
