Curatorial Ethos
FOST Gallery is dedicated to showing progressive contemporary artists at the fore of the field, with a particular emphasis on Singaporean talent. Since its inception, the gallery has maintained a strong commitment to education through artist-led talks, student group visits, and the publication of scholarly works by respected art historians.
Established in 2006 by Stephanie Fong, FOST Gallery is a commercial gallery located at Gillman Barracks, Singapore’s premier contemporary art precinct. The gallery showcases progressive contemporary artists from around the world with a special focus on those based in Singapore. It has been recognized internationally for its rigorous curatorial outlook and critically acclaimed exhibitions.
