Curatorial Ethos

The gallery aims to foster dynamic trans-cultural relationships between Asian and international art scenes by promoting creative and critical art projects. It seeks to create optimal conditions for dialogue among artists, curators, collectors, and institutions while nurturing new methodologies in contemporary art history.

Tang Contemporary Art is a commercial gallery founded in Bangkok in 1997, with additional spaces in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, and Singapore. The Seoul location is situated in the Apgujeong-dong area of Gangnam-gu and operates as part of an international network active in major art fairs such as Art Basel Hong Kong, KIAF, and Frieze New York. The gallery represents both internationally renowned and emerging artists, maintaining a year-round exhibition programme across its global locations.
