Curatorial Ethos

The gallery focuses on preserving the craft and distinction of Korean art, serving as a platform for young, up-and-coming domestic and international artists alongside well-known figures. It emphasizes the global promotion and sales of Korean artworks through extensive participation in international art fairs since 1982.

Chosun Art Gallery is one of South Korea's oldest commercial galleries, established in 1971 in Seoul. It has hosted approximately 500 exhibitions featuring both emerging and established artists and was designated as a Seoul Future Heritage site in 2019. The gallery actively participates in international art fairs and strives to preserve the distinction of Korean art while sharing it globally.
