Curatorial Ethos
The space aims to serve as a platform for improving the creative ability of promising artists at home and abroad while acting as a representative cultural space in the community. Its programme focuses on supporting young artists transitioning into full-time practice through exhibitions, residencies, and community initiatives like the 'Spring Flare' daily art bookstore.
Chapter II is a non-profit art space established in 2016 by U.PINE MED Inc. as a collaborative project with Gallery Baton to support young and emerging artists. Located at 54 Donggyo-ro 27-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, the venue operates with opening hours from Tuesday to Friday 10am–6pm and Saturday 12pm–6pm. It functions as a platform for experimental artistic attempts and runs an annual residency program selecting three artists.
