Sacripante Gallery — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery specializes in Lowbrow Art and operates as a bold curatorial project featuring two annual exhibitions where artists 'literally invade the walls' for extended residencies. Its programme emphasizes site-specific engagement, transforming the entire environment into a temporary artistic cradle that dies after six months to be reborn.

Sacripante Art Gallery is an art gallery located in the Monti district of Rome, Italy, at Via Panisperna 59. Founded by Alessandro Cattedra, Carlotta Cerulli, and Giorgia Cerulli, the space opened in November 2014 with a focus on Lowbrow Art. The venue features a distinctive interior that mixes baroque furniture with raw cement, hosting exhibitions that typically run for six-month periods.
