Curatorial Ethos
The foundation's mission focuses on experimentation and training, utilizing art as a means for teaching and social integration through its 'Curare l’educazione' program. It aims to foster an open dialogue with a heterogeneous public by promoting the interaction of contemporary artistic languages and stimulating new modes of participation.
Fondazione Pastificio Cerere is a contemporary art foundation established in Rome in 2004 by president Flavio Misciattelli to promote and spread contemporary art. Housed in a former pasta factory built in 1905 within the San Lorenzo district, the venue hosts exhibitions, artist residencies, and educational labs alongside active art ateliers and academic institutions. The foundation operates with free entry and maintains a year-round programme of projects, workshops, and critical publications.
