Lisson Gallery — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery’s programme focuses on representing a diverse roster of international artists across painting, sculpture, photography, and installation, with a historical emphasis on Minimalism, Conceptualism, and British Sculpture. Lisson Gallery curates both commercial exhibitions and significant public-facing museum projects, bridging the gap between private collection and institutional presentation.

Lisson Gallery is an influential international contemporary art gallery established in 1967 by Nicholas Logsdail, with spaces in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Shanghai. The gallery supports more than 70 international artists, ranging from pioneers of Minimal and Conceptual art to leading figures in contemporary practice. It maintains a year-round programme of exhibitions, including solo and group shows, as well as off-site projects and museum collaborations globally.
