Asya Geisberg Gallery — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery’s mission is to create a space conducive to intellectual inquiry and cultural cross-pollination, with a program that is visually eclectic and conceptually focused on ideas about art and art about ideas. It emphasizes work from a non-US perspective, exploring themes of world history, archaeology, and cultural politics through multidisciplinary practices.

Asya Geisberg Gallery is a commercial gallery located at 45 White Street in Tribeca, New York, which relocated there from Chelsea after operating for over ten years. Founded in late 2010 by Asya Geisberg, the gallery represents young emerging and international artists, many of whom work across multiple media including ceramics, textiles, painting, photography, and sculpture. The venue participates in major art fairs such as The Armory Show, NADA Miami, and ZONAMACO, and its artists have been reviewed in publications like The New York Times and Artforum.
