Curatorial Ethos
The programme focuses on fostering multidisciplinary artistic practices and regional dialogues through exhibitions, performance cycles, and public talks that connect local Moroccan creators with international networks. LE 18 supports knowledge production via its bookstore and publication initiatives, while maintaining artist residencies to nurture emerging and established voices across the MENA region and beyond.
LE 18 is a cultural space established in 2013 located in the Riad Laarous neighborhood of Marrakech’s Medina. The venue presents contemporary exhibitions, public programmes, performances, talks, and workshops while operating a dedicated bookstore. It also manages artist residencies and has participated in major international initiatives such as documenta fifteen and the Art Explora Festival.
