Curatorial Ethos
The gallery maintains a bold and original programming model dedicated to showcasing Moroccan and international contemporary artists across solo and group exhibitions. Its multidisciplinary approach extends into educational and developmental initiatives, notably through the MAJAZ incubator program established in 2021 to nurture emerging talent.
Comptoir des Mines Galerie is a leading contemporary art space in Marrakech founded in 2016 by Hicham Daoudi. The gallery operates within a meticulously restored 1930s Art Deco building that formerly served as a mining company headquarters, offering over 1,200 m² of exhibition space. It supports both Moroccan and international artists through solo and group exhibitions, artist residencies, and partnerships with museums and major art fairs. The venue also runs the MAJAZ incubator program for emerging artists launched in 2021 and remains open year-round for exhibitions and guided visits.
