Albarrán Bourdais — gallery cover

Curatorial Ethos

The gallery develops immersive exhibitions and distinguished cultural programmes that go beyond the traditional confines of the white cube, aiming to provide artists with opportunities to experiment and present their work. Its programme strengthens links between France, Spain, and Latin American countries, reflecting the founders' background in cultural engineering and public art.

Albarrán Bourdais is an art gallery founded in Madrid in 2018 by Eva Albarrán and Christian Bourdais, representing over 20 renowned contemporary artists. The gallery operates from a sensitively-restored historical workshop in central Madrid and a stately home in Menorca, while also managing the open-air Solo Sculpture Trail in Matarraña. Its programme focuses on immersive exhibitions and distinguished cultural activities that extend beyond traditional exhibition spaces.
